More snow in Aspen!…isn’t it almost May?
It is April 24th and we got approx. 11inch of snow here in Aspen…skiing was awesome today!

Slalom race today!
Downhill race was canceled for today.
Downhill race scheduled for tomorrow…it all depends on the weather!
Downhill training was canceled today and is canceled tomorrow too. Cross your fingers that we get the race off on Saturday!
Scared to look outside and see how much snow we got last night!
After a 3 hour weather delay, all but the men standing class were able to get a downhill training run in!
Paralympic downhill training starts tomorrow!
Made it to the Paralympic Village in Whistler!
Heading to Denver this morning for Team Processing this afternoon…then off to Whistler tomorrow!
World Cup Finals are over! Won todays Super G by almost 3seconds! Not a bad B-day!
Won the Downhill today at World Cup Finals here in Aspen. Ended up 3rd in the Downhill Overall Title!

Watch“Meet Me Halfway” by the Black Eyed Peas is very popular in Italy…this was about the 100th time we heard it that week…I am okay to never hear that song again! Tim was really getting into it though going 164kph in a cargo van!
Back in Aspen…no more traveling until March hopefully for the Paralympics!
Happy to be heading back to Aspen today…13+ hours of flying and I should be there! Hoping for no delays!
Finally got a win yesterday in the Super G!
2nd place in yesterday’s Downhill, crashed pretty hard today…my back is wicked sore!
Long day of Downhill training, got finished around 4:30pm…really like my new downhill skis!
Arrived in Sestriere. Wicked excited about all the snow! Tomorrow starts downhill training.
Made the podium today in Slalom. 3rd place!
I am having a bad week of racing…another DNF today.
So glad slalom is done for a few days anyway! Onto giant slalom tomorrow!
DNFed today’s Slalom race…get to try again tomorrow.
In Abtenau Austria…start racing tomorrow. First up Slalom!

Ugh…I hate SLALOM! At least I don’t have to train Slalom again until Thursday, yeah that’s right, the day after tomorrow…why so soon?!
Good day of GS training at Highlands.
Had fun free skiing with Gabi today! Plus, it was so much warmer…20 degrees…it was great!
It’s been cold here in Aspen the past 3 days…today was 3 degrees at the bottom of the chairlift! Don’t want to know the temp at the top!
Good to be back in Aspen after 2 long weeks of training & racing in Breckenridge, Copper & Winter Park!
Won the Giant Slalom (on Monday) and DNFed in the Slalom (on Tuesday) at Copper, won the Super G today at Winter Park.
Giant Slalom tomorrow at Copper…first race of the season.
Week Wrap-Up
I am very happy to be done skiing in Breckenfridge, I mean Breckenridge, for the season! It has been a very cold week and of course seeing our team is stuck in Breck, it has been dumping snow back in Aspen! Ski Spectacular is over and I start racing on Monday.
Monday = Giant Slalom @ Copper Mountain
Tuesday = Slalom @ Copper Mountain
Wednesday = day off
Thursday = Super G @ Winter Park

Great day of mentoring at Ski Spec…another day of slalom training & mentoring tomorrow! Oh & the weather was above 0degs today: YAY!
Mentor Mixer tonight at the Hartford’s Ski Spectacular. Then skiing tomorrow at Breckenridge. Hopefully…not below 0 deg weather, please!
Way too cold here at Copper!
Skied at Copper on Super G skis today…trying to decide which of my SG skis I like better, it’s a hard decision. Tomorrow SG gate training.
