My name is Laurie Stephens. I was born with Spina Bifida. I started mono skiing when I was 12 and started racing when I was 16. It has lead me to the 2006 Winter Paralympics in Torino...the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver...competing at the X Games in the first ever Monoskier X...nominated for an ESPY Award...and winning 12 World Cup Overall Titles (so far)...

It is April 24th and we got approx. 11inch of snow here in Aspen…skiing was awesome today!

Downhill race was canceled for today.
Downhill race scheduled for tomorrow…it all depends on the weather!
Downhill training was canceled today and is canceled tomorrow too. Cross your fingers that we get the race off on Saturday!
Scared to look outside and see how much snow we got last night!
After a 3 hour weather delay, all but the men standing class were able to get a downhill training run in!
